Production dashboard
For an international semiconductor manufacturer
Starting point: Production key figures were spread across several systems. Anyone who wanted an overview had to piece it together.
Solution: A dashboard with yield, equipment status and prioritised lots, fed from the existing systems.
Capacity planning
For a window manufacturer
Starting point: Orders were assigned to departments without seeing when a day was full. Overload only showed up in the workshop.
Solution: Planning by plant and production area with a daily limit per department. A package that would overload a day cannot be scheduled in the first place.
Result: In use since August 2026, with an annual overview, company holidays and target volumes.
Route planning
Our own product, used by maintenance companies in environmental technology
Starting point: Routes were planned by hand, service reports written on paper and typed up in the office.
Solution: Plan and optimise routes, work offline on the road, sign reports digitally, then invoice automatically.
Result: Running in live production, with digital service reports and an office dashboard.
Field service planning
For a window manufacturer
Starting point: Technicians and appointments for the whole week were planned in lists that only one person could keep track of.
Solution: A weekly calendar with a map for dispatch, updated live for everyone. On their phone, technicians see their day with a checklist, photos, signature and time tracking.
Result: Replaced a purchased third-party product. Job report as PDF, SMS reminder to the customer the day before.
CRM system
For a window manufacturer
Starting point: Customers, enquiries and offers were spread across sites, inboxes and spreadsheets.
Solution: A CRM for headquarters and sites: customer file with timeline, offers and documents from the ERP, follow-ups and sales targets, permissions per role.
Result: In daily use since 2022, synchronised nightly with the ERP of 11 sites.
Time tracking
Our own product (Tom's Clock)
Starting point: Working hours, project time and holidays were recorded separately and merged by hand for payroll.
Solution: Time clock, project and customer time, absences with holiday allowance and reports with PDF and Excel export, separated per company.
Result: Running in production, also for our own team.
Training platform
For a window manufacturer
Starting point: Mandatory training and onboarding of new employees relied on scattered documents. Who had completed what was hard to prove.
Solution: A campus with a course catalogue, mandatory courses with deadlines, an onboarding plan for new employees and learning progress with evidence.
Result: In use since September 2026.
Measurement and quotation
For a window manufacturer
Starting point: On site, measurements were taken on paper, typed up in the office and turned into a quotation. Typing added errors.
Solution: Capture measurements directly in the system, with line items, attachments and master data, as the basis for costing and quotation.
Result: In use since May 2026.
Service and complaints
For a window manufacturer
Starting point: Service cases came in by phone and email and got lost between headquarters, site and technician.
Solution: Service cases run as jobs through the same planning as installation: assigned, scheduled, with a report.
Production control
For a window manufacturer
Starting point: Production orders, work steps and feedback from the shop floor relied on paper and shouting across the hall.
Solution: Production orders come from the ERP, planning runs by plant and production area, feedback comes straight from the shop floor.
Enquiry management
Our own system for Grafenau Digital Solutions
Starting point: Enquiries from the website, phone and email were not assessed and followed up consistently.
Solution: All enquiries in one place, with company size, role, stage and an automatic confirmation to the sender.
Product configurator
For a window manufacturer
Starting point: End customers couldn't put together windows and doors themselves and had to ask for every price.
Solution: An online configurator with price, basket and quote request. Prices come from the existing Excel price calculators.
Result: Requests go straight to sales.
Test automation
For a window manufacturer and our own products
Starting point: New versions were clicked through by hand. Bugs only showed up in production.
Solution: Automated checks and end-to-end tests run before every new version.
Result: Around 6,000 automated tests protect the window manufacturer's software alone.
