Custom software development for mid-sized companies

Software that fits your processes exactly. Built with AI, owned by experienced developers and supported in day-to-day operation. For companies with 50+ employees in Austria and Germany.

  • 14 yearsof software development for the mid-market
  • Window manufacturersupported externally for five years, ten years in-house before that
  • 13 projectsrebuilt as interfaces in the showcase
  • Fixed priceper stage, after a paid analysis

When custom software pays off, and when it doesn't

Not every problem needs its own software. We answer that question first, honestly, in the initial call.

It pays off when …

  • important processes depend on Excel lists and individual people,
  • your standard software only covers half of your processes and the rest is done by hand,
  • several sites or departments work with different data,
  • ERP, CRM and business applications need to talk to each other,
  • your process is your competitive edge and no standard product covers it.

It rarely pays off when …

  • good standard software already covers your process almost completely,
  • it's about accounting, payroll or email. Proven products exist for that,
  • the process itself isn't clear yet. Then we clarify the process first, not the software.

What we build

Business applications and portals

Planning, dispatch, measurement, service, training: software for the processes that set your company apart.

Integrations

Connections to ERP, CRM and existing systems, with a clear roles and permissions concept. Data is captured once, not three times.

Process automation

Manual steps and Excel islands become traceable processes that keep working when someone is on holiday.

Modernising legacy systems

Step by step instead of a big bang: the old system keeps running until the new one replaces it piece by piece.

Dashboards and reporting

Key figures from several sources at a glance, for management, production and sales.

Operations and maintenance

Updates, monitoring and a dedicated contact, even years after go-live.

What our software looks like

We show real interfaces instead of stock images. Because customer data is confidential, we rebuilt our projects with made-up sample data.

Built with AI. Owned by people.

We work with Claude Code, an AI tool for programming. It writes code faster than a person can type. What ends up in your software is decided and checked by us.

  1. HumanClarify requirements With you, using real examples from your day-to-day work.
  2. HumanDecide what gets built Business logic, permissions, data model.
  3. AI under supervisionWrite code and tests Every change comes with automated tests.
  4. HumanReview Code review, tests run, cross-check in the real process.
  5. HumanRelease Only then does it go live, with evidence.

An example from practice: for a window manufacturer, four large modules were built within five months in 2026: measurement, field service planning, capacity planning and training. In the same period, the test suite grew to around 6,000 automated tests. For you, that means shorter project times and a fixed price we stick to.

How we work together

  1. Initial call

    30 minutes, free

We clarify whether custom software pays off for you, and roughly what it costs.

  2. Analysis

    1 to 2 weeks, paid

Requirements, a first prototype, a binding offer. The fee is fully credited. If there's no usable result, you get it back.

  3. Delivery

    fixed price per stage

In stages with fixed dates. You see the current state regularly and sign off each stage.

  4. Operations

    optional, monthly

Updates, monitoring, further development and a dedicated contact.

The software behind a window manufacturer for five years

For a window manufacturer with several sites we built sales, measurement, capacity planning, service and installation, and training into one shared software. In daily use since 2022, synchronised nightly with the ERP of 11 sites.

What does custom software cost?

A small business application starts at around 10,000 euros, a system for several departments usually costs between 30,000 and 90,000 euros. We show openly what drives the price.

Frequently asked questions

Who owns the source code?

You do. After payment you receive the complete source code including documentation in your own repository. Make sure any software partner confirms this in the contract, because without an explicit agreement the handover of source code is not a given.

How long does a project take?

The analysis takes one to two weeks; a small business application is then often in use within four to eight weeks. Larger systems are built in stages of a few weeks each so the first parts can be used early. One example: for a window manufacturer, four large modules were built within five months in 2026: measurement, field service planning, capacity planning and training.

How do I recognise a good software partner?

Ask to see running software, not slides, and ask for a reference customer you may call. Make sure the person in the first meeting also works on your software, that the contract covers the handover of source code and that every change is protected by automated tests. A serious fixed price only comes after an analysis of your processes; a number before that is an estimate with a risk premium.

How safe is code written by AI?

As safe as the review that follows. In a study by the security vendor Veracode (July 2025), AI-generated code contained a vulnerability from the OWASP Top 10 in 45 percent of 80 test tasks. That's why no change goes live with us without automated tests, code review and sign-off by a person. For a window manufacturer, around 6,000 automated tests protect the software.

What happens if the software partner is unavailable?

With a small provider that's a fair question, and the answer has to be in the contract and the code, not in a promise. We build with widely used standard technologies (Angular, NestJS), document every stage and secure every change with automated tests. Source code and documentation are with you, so another experienced developer can continue.

Can custom software be connected to our ERP?

As a rule, yes: via an API, directly via the database or via a regular file exchange. Which route works we clarify during the analysis on your real system, because integrations are the biggest uncertainty in the price. At a window manufacturer, the shared software is synchronised every night with the ERP of 11 sites.

Where is the data hosted?

Wherever you want: on your own premises or in a data centre in Austria. Your IT keeps authority over infrastructure and security; we deliver the software and its documentation.

What does “built with AI” mean in practice?

We program with Claude Code, an AI tool by Anthropic that writes code to our specifications. Clarifying requirements, deciding what gets built, reviewing and releasing stay with people; the AI writes code and tests under supervision. Parts that used to take days are now built in hours, and the time saved goes into alignment, tests and review.

Let's talk about your project.
